NO ONE CAN EAT JUST ONE :)

Date: February 15, 2012
Place: Chocolate Fire
With: Krisbert and Jhana

For about 10 loooong months, I was not able to see nor to have long talks with this people. Luckily, a well democratic plan was made week before the said date. Jhana set the date, Krisbert set the place, and I set the time. Democratic right? haha! :) Anyway, right after my skype date with my boyfriend, I rushed myself to prepare for our Post Valentine's day date and went straight to Makati after that quick girl-moment. I have no idea with the places in Makati since I am not used to going there because it's too far from my place. At around 2pm I arrived in our meeting place and looked for them. Krisbert did not tell us the place or the restaurant we're going so I was super surprised when I saw the place. It's really nice.

We need some catching up, seriously! And that's what we did. Endless talking of different stories, from college days, to lovelife, to different places, to work, to everything under sun.

Jhana, Yca, and Krisbert. They are one of my closest PT friends in UST. I met them when we were on our internship on our last year of school. True friends that's what I can briefly describe them. In few months of being together we were able to be close friends. I so love this 2 beautiful creatures.
Chocolate overload. :)

All About Chocolate Fire

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.Charles M. Schul

It's my first to be in a chocolate cafe and thank you Krisbert for bringing us there. This Chocolate fire encounter made me crave more for chocolates. They don't just serve chocolates, but they also have salads, pastas, sandwiches, and other more. What makes this cafe interesting is the ambiance inside. You feel at ease and super comfy.

Here's the menu
I ordered the Fresh Tossed Salad with Tuna and Ceasar Dressing and it's PERFEEEEEECTT!!

I ordered the Mango Tango or my drink. It tastes good!

Kinda catchy right? First time we saw this we were so curious so when we're done with our meals we bought our different chocolates for our dessert. We found this one. This Pringles half filled with chocolate was just another to-die for dessert. We bought the plain one. The saltiness of the pringles plus the sweetness of chocolate was perfect combo!

Half filled Raspberry. If you love the Berry family, you would love this one. The perfect ripe of the berry and exact sweetness of chocolate is superb.
Bubble Kiss. Another perfect chocolate dessert. By the way, in almost all chocolate you will choose what chocolate you prefer, it can be milk, white, or dark chocolate. :)
*Pictures were taken form their Facebook Fan Page.

I wanna try all the chocolates but I have problems with my Tonsils that day. Sad. :( But I promise to go back there when I have time. Or if ever I would be in Makati.

The place is lovely, right? If you want the just-chill-moments, if you wanna unstress yourself and if you are just within Makati area, Chocolate Fire is the place to go. :)

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT!

Date: February 15, 2012
Place: Home
With: Vincent :)

You may laugh on our korny idea of celebrating Heart's day but this is the fact, this is how we do it!

Morning of February 14, we talked and decided to celebrate Valentine's day right after his work and that's February 15 here in the Philippines so we can buy something to eat for our Skype date. Morning came, I woke up around 8:30 in the morning and messaged him that I'm awake already, so he called me. I prepare my food so we can start our virtual date. I bought my ever so favorite Chicken and Red Ribbon's Ube Cake (one of my favorites) So our usual conversation started while eating.

Looking forward to the day that we can actually kiss and hug each other. To the day that I will be standing in front of you and say how much you mean me. To the day that I can whisper to your ears how special you are. And to the day that I can actually tell the world how much I love you.

After few hours we talking, laughing at our craziest jokes, we ended the call since it's kinda late and he still has his work the following day. Also I have to prepare already to meet my college friends at 2pm in Makati for our post Valentine's day date.

I know for some people out there it will be somewhat awkward doing or making this kind of setup work. With the fact that you can't be together on the special days. And I can say it's really hard seeing couples having their usual dates. Seeing them so sweet, holding hands, laughing together so hard, hugging each other. I envy them most of the time, to be honest. But I have to stay put, I have to be patient on waiting for the right time that we can have our endless dates. This is we do it. This is how we celebrate occasions. Facing the computer and talking to him. I'm really thankful for this modern technology that we can actually see each other, though behind the 4 corners of the monitor, though you cannot touch or smell him but you can surely see him. That matters the most to me. Thankful for we will not endure the long wait for snail mails. Thankful that he is just one tweet or one private message away. Thank you for this gadgets that bring me closer to him.

Happy heart for me on Valentine's day. How about you? How's your Valentine's day?

By the way, this is not just an ordinary day for us. It's exactly our third month after we joined the Long Distance Relationship club. :) And proud to say, we're happy.

UP UP AND AWAY. :)

Date: February 12, 2012
Place: Clark
With: Ate Jaimee, Ate Pot, Cailey, Patricia, and Nicole

Unplanned getaway with my cousins and nieces. Ate Jaimee asked me if I want to go to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark, without even thinking twice, I said yes. Finally, after years of failing to go in this event, one Sunday morning my dreams came true! Indeed, a super rush preparation was made.

We're supposed to go to Clark at around 3:30 in the morning. I woke up at 2:30 am to prepare and I am done with myself at around 3:20 am. 10 minutes early for the call time. Ate Pot and her daughter Cailey arrived at our house at 3:45am and for the win, Nicole (the ever so late girl) arrived almost 4am. whew! Then we drove to fetch Ate Jaimee in their house and went to Clark.

We stopped over at Petron in Clark to freshen up and buy some food while Ate Jaimee took the chance to get the ticket to her friend. As early as 6 am, Clark was in heavy traffic! argh! Arrived at the venue around 10 minutes before 7. Just in time for the festivities.

Thank you, Kuya Vincent (Ate Jaimee's friend) for buying our tickets ahead of time so we will not fall in line just to buy our tickets.
I fell in love with the balloons. :) It's really a different feeling seeing a real Hot Air Balloons!

Hot Air Balloons!! :))

Another stop over at Shell (forgot the location) Ate Pot, Ate Jaimee, and Nicole

Different shapes of Balloons were seen in this event. Cake, Panda, Sliced orange fruit, Car, Ice cream etc. We did not stay there for long. Did not finish the whole day event And before 12 we're home already. :) enjoyed the day though it's tiring. Another place and event to remember. My Hot Air Balloon experience will surely be at my Top Ten List of my 2012 getaways.
