MILES AND MILES AWAY

I'm so bored today! argh!! Anyway, while I was surfing the net I saw different pictures on tumblr. Photos that show/define the Long Distance Relationship. Photo blog for this afternoon! :))

Long distance relationship rocks even though it's hard. :))

One of the main ingredients of this type of relationship

This is what we're doing right now.

Thank you so much Skype, for connecting us! :)

Photos from: longdistancestories.tumblr.com and google.com

If you're going to ask me if I am happy about this relationship, YES. I am happy though we're miles and miles apart. I know in God's time we will be reunited and I am willing to wait for the moment that we can be back in each others arms. :))

22ND ON THE 24TH PART III

My fourth celebration actually. :) This time, I celebrated with my 2 closest cousins on Ramos clan Ate Abbey and Nicole. We just went to Guilbert's Place (our favorite restaurant in our town. The place will statisfy your cravins and the ambiance is perfect! ) Since we rarely see Ate Abbey because she is busy with her work in Clark a lot catching up for the three of us. We talked about different aspects of life, happy, sad, etc. name it! Spontaneous night indeed! And i so love those kind of conversation.

Left-right: Nicole, Ate Abbey, Yca :))

weird, wacky, and wild! :))

3 out 5 dishes that we ordered. :)

Enjoying the food! Thumbs up for the well-cooked food!

Stolen! :))

Hello to my coolest cousin ever, Ate Abbey! :)

Too much food intake for the night! We can't even laugh much after the pigging-out due to food over-load in our tummies. :) Another epic celebration! Thank you guys!
BTW, sorry for blurry photos. Photos from instragram. :))

22ND ON THE 24TH PART II :)

Since I started my college, it's been a week-long celebration almost every year for my birthday. And it's been five straight years by now. I don't even know why I'm having this looooooong celebration. :) Anyway, this post will be my 3rd celebration (no post for the first festivity) for the week and it is extra special. I celebrated it with my boyfriend's family. They've been really really nice to me so even though my boyfriend is miles away from me, I make it a point to have some time to visit them.

Meeting time: 4pm
Meeting place: SM City Fairview

I arrived around 3:50 in the afternoon. Just in time. :) I keep looking at my cellphone if Ate Rissa (Vincent's cousin) texted me already but no text until 4:20 pm. So what I did is just walked around the mall. ( I love window shopping a lot, I never get tired of walking around mall and looking for dresses, shoes, bags, etc. ) By 4:30 I texted Ate Rissa and asked where they are. Waited for a couple of minutes for her reply. Kinda impatient by that moment, so I texted Vincent's mom for her whereabouts. And lucky me, she replied fast! :) I went to SM's foodcourt since Tita told she was there. We waited for Kevin (Vincent's cousin) and Kleng (Kevin's girlfriend) few minutes after they arrived already. All of us walked to Tong Yang since Ate Rissa made a reservation by 5pm. Just in time. :)

It's another Eat-All-You-Can Restaurant. It's actually my first time to eat here.Thank to Ate Rissa for introducing it me. :)

The food selection.

Full load table. :)) HAPPY EATING! I really love the grilling part.

I am so busy with my cellphone and with no idea at all, some of the crew of Tong Yang suddenly sings a happy birthday song for me. I did not expect it, actually.  I don't know what's wrong with me but every time somebody sings that song for me, my eyes could not help it, teary-eyed indeed.
After the singing, it's time for my birthday wish and blowing of candle. WISH, WISH, WISH!! :) When I saw the greetings written on the cake, I was shocked and surprised again! It's from my, who else would it be, boyfriend. :)))) Kilig to the bones!
Picture with the singing crew! Thank you for the birthday song. :))
And again. :)
Say hi to the sweetest girl ever, Ate Rissa. :))
After the surprise, another expect-the-unexpected moment happened! I asked for the bill, since I was the one responsible for this celebration I should be the one to pay for the buffet. But when the waiter gave the chit, Ate Rissa took it. I was forcing her to give it me but what she did is gave it to Vincent's mom and she was the one who pay the bills. I was SHOCKED for the second time around! I was really shy about it. It's my celebration, but they're the one who pay the bills.

By late past seven, we're already done with all the pigging out. They walked me until the bus stop and said our good-byes. I tweeted Vincent about it because I know he's the one behind it. His mom texted me " Pabirthday daw sayo ni Jay yan" I wanna scream!! I was super happy. :)))) *speechless*

I posted this picture as soon as possible in my facebook account. I put a caption that states: "YOU NEVER FAIL TO MAKE ME SMILE. THANK YOU FOR THIS :* "

This would be the best birthday celebration ever. :)) My boyfriend is not that type of guy who really love surprises. He's more willing to ask you what you want than to give you the surprise, but this time it's totally different. This surprise made me really happy. First time in our relationship, actually! That's why tears wanna breakout from my eyes due to intense joy. Even though he is really really far from me, he made me super happy on making that surprise. Words would be enough to thank him for the happiness he brought to me.

Thank you for the surprise. Thank you for the love. Thank you for simply being you. I love you, Vincent! :)

22ND ON THE 24TH :)

Year older again and again and again! :) And I just can't believe it that I turned 22 last January 24. Shocks!

To start the celebration,  we went to SM Mall of Asia with my whole family to eat at Viking's for our dinner and to buy my Daddy's birthday present for me. We're there around 7pm and went straight to the restaurant because we're all kinda hungry. Unfortunately, we're on the waiting list!! argh! And it will be our turn after 18 groups. I am kinda disappointed (we're all, actually) about it because I was the one who insisted to eat there. I heard so much about the food there and I really wanna try it. Since we're going to wait for too long,  we've just decided to look for another restaurant and we ended up eating at Yakimix (our family is kinda fan of Japanese restaurant). With no surprise, we're still on the waiting list. But this time we're fourth. Way better than 18th! :) While waiting, my Dad gave me the money for his present for me and I immediately bought it. :) After, at least an hour or 2 of pigging out on that superb buffet on Yakmix, I claimed my gift at the shop. :))

And my Dad's gift was an iPad2 64gb. :) Thank you for this, Daddy! I'm such a spoiled daughter. :">

Overwhelming it is! I thought my Dad would not buy me this one but fortunately he did! yehey!

This was the only picture that I took on my birthday. :| I wasn't able to take pictures of ours during the dinner . :( I was so occupied by the iPad.

To those people who greeted me on my birthday, thank you so much for making it more special! :) I love you guys! :*

BRAND NEW YEAR, BRAND NEW HAIR :)

One afternoon, the idea of curls popped into my head once again and I started looking for pretty curls in the internet from that moment. Suddenly, I saw the Digiperm that Tony and Jackey Salon was offering. I was amazed by the reviews that I saw and without any hesitations I took a quick shower and then I'm off to Tony and Jackey in SM The Block. I rushed. I was there around 4 in the afternoon, kinda late right? but nonetheless, they still accept curling by that time. I ask for how long will it take for the digiperm and they said around 3 hours. So immediately say yes that I'll have it done by that time. A Korean stylist (forgot her name) did the perming to me. But she said that my hair was super dry and she needs to cut those hair, about 2 inches long. I think-twice about it. I never had haircut that long for about 3 years by now. But since I was there already, I said yes.

First thing they did is to shampooed my hair, and then cut 2 inches from it. After, they put the hair treatment to nourish my hair, that's for about an hour and half. And then, the stylist cut my hair again but now with style. (it became shorter and shorter to the point that they cut almost 3 and half inches) Now I'm thinking twice again for the second time, my expected curls will not be attained! Shocks! But since, I was there already I just accepted the fact that I'll be having a short curly hair. After all the realizations, they started the curls, it's really fast. And the machine used looked like an octopus! (wasn't able to take a picture of the machine.) It's about 30-44 minutes. And, TADANNN!!! It's official, I already have SHORT CURLY HAIR! :))

Let's take some pictures!! :)

BTW, I am wearing different shirts because the photos were taken at different day and time. :)

Overall, as of now, I am enjoying the curls! :) And after few days, I get used it.

TWO ZERO ONE TWO :)

Happy New Year everyone! :)

To start the year right, we're supposed to attend the anticipated mass at our barangay. We're all dressed up and early for the mass, unfortunately there's no mass for the whole town for that Saturday night. :( Anyway, we went back home and prepare for the Media Noche. Ate Grace cooked almost all the food that were in the table. It's Ate Abbey and her family's first time to celebrate New Year with us. Actually, our we forced our Uncle to stay until after the Media Noche, and happily he agreed! The more the merrier! :))

Fireworks display near our house. :")

We don't buy fireworks neither firecrackers for the reason that most of my relatives do have asthma (we all know that those things do have lots of smoke) and we're all afraid that it might not work properly. Better be safe. :)
