PASKUHAN 2011

Last year's Paskuhan was a memorable day for me, for the reason that I am with my closest friends. But this year, it's a mixed emotion. 

I was with Nicole, my cousin, in the event. We're in a hurry because I thought the anticipated Simbang gabi would be at 6pm but when we arrived at the Church 15 mins before the time I was shocked mass not being held. When I looked at the cork board I saw the schedule that the Mass will start at 8pm. Whew! We've decided to just walk around, have milk tea, and do the reservation for our rockband session. 40 minutes after, we're already back in our dorm to have some rest for an expected long night and to wait for John and Chelle. They arrived at around 7:45pm and they did some change of clothes and then rush to the Church for the Simbang Gabi. Mass ended on time we walked to the field to look for the perfect spot for the annual fireworks display. after waiting for less than 20 minutes, 5, 4,3,2,1 BOOOOOOM!! it started with the theme of "Party Rock" So- so to be describe. Better fireworks last year. :) We stayed until the last band which was Urbandub. :)

Rockabnd, rockband, rockband, wait did I say rockaband? oh well, that's how excited I am playing it but at the same time sad because I'm missing someone. Bittersweet right? 12pm was the time reserved for our Rockband session but unfortunately, Kuya who's in morning shift did not endorse to the night shift our reservation so we have to wait for 40 minutes to be able to play. We kept ourselves busy by doing some Facebook-ing. :) It's around 10.30 am DE time so I checked my twitter and skype to see if he's online. Thank goodness, he is! I borrowed the computer shop's webcam and less than a minute he called already. :) He kept on telling me that I'm Blooming ( to be honest, I blushed! hihi! ) and to bring the computer in the rockband room. But sad to say, we can't. :( You can really tell through his eyes how much he miss his barkada. Especially, Gab and John. And also, he kept on telling me that he's envy of us. oh well, there's nothign we can do about it.  And the long wait was over, it's our turn to play. But my excitement was washed away, the thing I wanna do by that time was just to talk to him. Anyway, I went upstairs few minutes after my friends went up. I said my goodbye to him. We started playing, the usual songs that we used to sing and play. The most emotional songs for me were Bring me to life ( fave of Vincent) I need you Now, and Ocean Avenue ( my fave) Btw, while we're playing those songs, they're teasing me. HAHAHHA! kinda affected. 1 hour and 30 minutes and then we're done! 

Went back to the dorm to eat our super late dinner by 2:30 am. But the rice wasn't able to beat the time. It took a while to be cooked. Gab and Ruth went home earlier than expected. Chelle, John and I ate our Late dinner/ early breakfast by around 4am. I went to our room to have some rest and when I went out John and Chelle were packed to go home. We said goodbyes. I cleaned our dorm, took a bath and by 7am we're ready to go home. :) 9:30 am Bulacan bound and it's skype time. :))

I was awake for more than 24 hours but I can I say it's all worth it. :) I had a chance to mingle again with my friends and had fun night with them. The best friends/company ever! I love you guys, 'til next time!
